An invitation to do something special together is always a favorite choice. (Theater, hikes, a “let’s build a lego kit/model together” date, museum visits, a shared meal, a class together, etc. are great! Minor caveat: I have a tough time with loud or crowded events.)
I find gifts that you’ve made especially meaningful.
Books, especially those from my to-read list, are always welcome.
Tea, of course. I use loose leaf whenever possible these days (tea bags, microplastics, blah blah), and am a particular fan of Fraser Tea. I dig English and Irish Breakfast, Orange Spice, Earl Grey and Earl Grey Creme, masala chai, and most other black teas.
Board games. (Best with a time set aside to play together: see item #1 above!) Here’s a list of some I have my eye on.
I’ve got a soft spot for Indian snack foods. Bhujia and Kerala mixture are particular favorites.
Hygiene items. Choose how you want me to smell! One specific idea: I do like the absurdly large Duke Cannon soaps.
If you want to lower the odds I’ll receive a “worst dressed” award, I generally wear a medium shirt (slim fit), 33/32 britches, size 10.5 shoes, and a size 7 3/8 hat.
I’d love to get hold of the bracing kit for my 3D printer.
