About a week ago, my friend & coworker James started going on about Sugar Gliders. I’d never heard of the critters, which are little marsupials that look like ferrets with flaps of skin for gliding like flying squirrels have. Joe also told me about Harry Turtledove’s alternate history books, which sound like they’d be fun. (Aliens invade World War 2, for example.)

Like RPGs? Have a Mac?
Avernum for the Mac was released this week. It’s a remake of Jeff Vogel’s Exile game, and is pretty dang groovy. Windows version to come in a few months.
Random Hearts
Watched Random Hearts last night. Chick flick with Harrison Ford and some female. Ok for a chick flick, but probably only because there were guns in the first 10 minutes. 🙂
Chrismo Plays With Conversant
My friend Chris Morris is experimenting with using Conversant for support of his Scrapware software. Groovy.
Bach's Birthday
Driving into work today, I heard on NPR that today is J.S. Bach’s birthday. In celebration, they played several of his choral works, as well as (inexplicably) a song from G&S’s The Mikado. Twice.
Anyway, I do believe that Baroque choral works make me feel Pascal’s God-shaped hole more keenly than just about anything else. SDG.
